The Hearing Loss Association of America Pittsburgh Chapter March 16 public meeting will focus on communication breakdowns, solutions, and advocacy. President Teresa Nellans will lead participants in a discussion of their holiday, family, and medical stories. Ms Nellans has a masters degree in psychology, a masters degree in business, and has worked in medical, business, and governmental organizations. We will also discuss use of public media for our meetings.
The meeting held at DePaul School for Hearing and Speech 6202 Alder St., Shadyside, begins with refreshments at ten am. Free and open to the public. Captioning and hearing loop are provided. The PA Diana Bender HLAA National Convention Scholarship is for a person who is currently involved with hearing loss issues.
